In Port Allen, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Louisiana, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Port Allen keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. The listed phone number is (225) 749-0608. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Its Google rating stands at 2.9 out of 5 from 34 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Port Allen is in Louisiana, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Port Allen is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Louisiana's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Used to be a good wash with good water pressure and soap for a good while now it doesn’t even clean It would be good if it went back to what it once was The big fancy automatic car wash up the street doesn’t even take cash And is not open 24hrs

Nothing spectacular about this drive thru car wash. Cheapest wash is $6.00. I choose the $8.00 selection and it did the job except for the front grill which still had bugs stuck to it. I know other car wash places have been successful in cleaning this area of my vehicle, so I know it can be done.

I have used this cash wash countless times throughout the years but last night it scratched my painted front bumper in 3 different places. I could feel my truck sway whenever this happened. I have tried to call the number but wasn't able to get in touch with the owner yet.

Machine for the auto-wash does NOT give change. I called the number listed to request a refund, it's a fax machine. Do not recommend. Also, the payment machine doesn't accept cards, despite what it says.
